Azizah Vonna, M.Pharm.Sci., Apt, is a lecturer in Pharmacology, Pharmacotherapy, Pharmacokinetics, and Pharmaceutical Care at the School of Pharmacy, Syiah Kuala University. She played a key role in revising and remodeling the pharmacy curriculum in 2016. Her research focuses on clinical pharmacy, particularly in the evaluation of therapy outcomes and optimization of drug therapy. Her areas of interest include antibiotic use, cardiovascular drugs, and managing therapy for elderly patients and those with organ failure in a hospital setting. In addition to her academic role, Ms. Vonna serves as a preceptor and clinical pharmacist at Dr. Zainoel Abidin General Hospital in Banda Aceh, Aceh. Azizah Vonna holds a Master of Pharmacy (2013) and a Master of Pharmaceutical Science (2010) from the University of Tasmania, Australia. She completed her Pharmacist Professional Education Program in 2007 and earned a BPharm (Hons) in 2006, both from the University of North Sumatra, Medan, Indonesia. She is a member of the Indonesian Pharmacist Association and the American College of Clinical Pharmacy.
