Apt. Fajar Fakri, M.S.Farm, is a lecturer in the Pharmacy Department at Syiah Kuala University, Banda Aceh. He earned his Master’s degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology from the School of Pharmacy at Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), Bandung, and completed his Pharmacist Professional Education at Padjadjaran University, Bandung. Fajar’s research includes the antiangiogenesis activity test for anticancer agents, focusing on fractions and isolates from Gnetum gnemon L. (melinjo seeds) and Zingiber zerumbet L. (Lempuyang Wangi rhizomes) using in vivo methods with zebrafish (Danio rerio) embryos, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. I Ketut Adnyana, M.Si, Apt. Additionally, he has participated in research on medicinal plants with Prof. Dr.rer.nat. Rinaldi Idroes, S.Si., exploring their potential as antimicrobials in geothermal areas in Aceh Besar.
