Dr. Kartini Hasballah, MS, Apt. earned her Bachelor of Pharmacy and Pharmacist degree from Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), her Master’s in Biopharmaceutical Science from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), and her Doctorate in Pharmacology from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). Since 2013, she has led the Pharmacology Department at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Syiah Kuala (Unsyiah), and has been Vice-Chairman of the Indonesian Pharmacist Association (IAI) for the Aceh region since 2011. In addition to teaching at the Faculties of Medicine, Natural Science (Pharmacy), Nursing, and Dentistry at Unsyiah, she supervises student theses and serves as a research reviewer. Her research focuses on medicinal plants and biomolecular studies.
