Suryawati earned her Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy in 2004 and completed her Pharmacist Professional Education in 2005 at the University of Indonesia, Depok. In 2010, she graduated with a Master of Science (MSc) from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, United Kingdom. Her research focuses on herbal medicine development and medicinal chemistry, with notable publications on the antimalarial activity of neem Azadirachta indica, antioxidants from ant nest plants Mymercodia sp, and the profile of traditional drug use in children. Her community service efforts concentrate on monitoring drug side effects within society.
